Privacy Policy
Driftline (“we”, “service”) provides proactive AI training coaching for endurance athletes. This policy explains how personal data is collected, used, and protected.

2. Data we collect
During waitlist and early access we may collect:
- Email address
- Phone number (optional, for WhatsApp coaching)
- Sport and platform information (Garmin, Strava, WHOOP, Oura, etc.)
- Waitlist registration date and consent records
- WhatsApp opt-in/opt-out status and message delivery logs
When you register for the service and connect integrations, training, sleep, HRV, and similar health/fitness data may be processed read-only. That data is used only for coaching.
3. Why we process data
- Send waitlist and early-access notifications
- Provide personalized training coaching
- Deliver proactive coaching messages via WhatsApp when you opt in
- Protect service security and prevent abuse
- Meet legal obligations
Legal bases include contract performance, legitimate interest, and consent (waitlist approval, WhatsApp opt-in, and integration linking), including applicable GDPR/KVKK provisions.
4. Storage
Waitlist and WhatsApp identity records are stored on encrypted infrastructure (Vercel Blob). Email is sent via Resend. We aim to keep data with EU/Europe-focused providers where practical.
5. Third parties
We may work with providers in these categories:
- Hosting and infrastructure (Vercel)
- Email delivery (Resend)
- WhatsApp Business messaging (Meta Cloud API and/or Twilio) — only when you opt in to WhatsApp coaching; message content and phone number are processed by those providers under their terms
- Fitness platform integrations (Garmin, Strava, WHOOP, Oura, etc.) — only when you connect them
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for model training.
You can stop WhatsApp messages anytime by replying STOP / DUR, or by contacting us. Opting out of WhatsApp does not delete your waitlist email record unless you request deletion.
6. Retention
Waitlist data is kept until the service launches or until you request deletion; account data for as long as the account is active. Legal requirements may extend retention.
7. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, objection, and related rights under applicable law.

8. Security
Connections are read-only; data is transmitted encrypted and access is authorized. No system is 100% secure; reasonable technical and organizational measures apply.
9. Children's privacy
The service is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated. Material changes are communicated via waitlist or account email.
